Colorful Easter Candy Photography
Easter is one of my favorite times of the year. Not only because the weather is just perfect, but because Easter brings with it some of the best seasonal candies. I have always had a sweet tooth so when treats such as Peeps, Robin Eggs, and Cadbury Creme Eggs hit the shelf… it’s hard to resist! Easter is also associated with beautiful colors such as pink, blue, and yellow. I wanted to indulge my sweet tooth and simultaneously capture some photography centered around a handful of nostalgic candies I have loved since I was a little kid. I wanted these images to be bold and graphic while playing into the playful nature of Easter holiday candies. Below are my two favorite images from the shoot.

Say what you want about Peeps, but they are an all-time favorite in the Drapeau household. While this was a small collection, I hope viewing these candies brought back some memories of your own. Whether it be lovely spring mornings at easter church service, egg hunting in the yard with your siblings, or even the bittersweet stomach ache from a sugary candy overload!
